HS/HSL contains 7 patron-use copiers.
Locations
- Two are located on the first floor, two on the second floor, two on the third floor, and one on the fifth floor. Copy rooms located on the first through third floors are under the staircase. The fifth floor copy room is located along the east wall, near the southeast corner of the building.
Costs
- 6 copiers accept UMB1 cards and UMB1 guest cards; 1 copier on the first floor accepts coins and the old copy cards.
- UMB1 guest cards may be purchased during all normal hours of HS/HSL operation. A dispenser is located near the first floor elevators in the HS/HSL. UMB1 guest cards cost $1.00 to purchase and are reusable.
- The coin-operated machine accepts nickels, dimes and quarters. Coin-operated copies cost 15 cents per page.
- Change for $10 and lower denominations is often available at the HS/HSL Circulation Desk. A bill changer that accepts both $1 and $5 bills is near the first floor elevators. However, the bill changer and the Circulation Desk may run out of change during high-use days; therefore, it is recommended that anyone planning to make photocopies should bring the appropriate change/bills needed to complete the task.
Special Features
- Two copiers on the first floor support automatic duplex copying and copying onto transparencies. These machines can also produce 81/2 X 14 copies.
- Transparency sheets are available for purchase at the Circulation Desk on the first floor.
All photocopiers in the Library are owned and managed by University of Maryland, Baltimore Auxiliary Services.
Copyright restrictions apply to all photocopy services.
