Google Scholar: Setting the HS/HSL as a Library Access Link

What is Google Scholar?

Scholar is Google's effort to index scholarly literature. You can search across many disciplines and sources: peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and other scholarly organizations. Because many of the full-text resources in Google Scholar are only available to subscribing institutions, Google has provided a solution that makes it easier for you to access the electronic and print resources at the Health Sciences and Human Services Library (HS/HSL), University of Maryland.

The HS/HSL as a Library Access Link

By selecting the HS/HSL as a library link, items owned by the Library will have the Find It @ HS/HSL link as part of the citation. This link will lead to full-text, when available. Keep in mind that much of the scholarly input from pre-1998 is not necessarily available electronically. The good news is that the Find It @ HS/HSL link also takes you to print holdings information and/or a request form for document delivery.
