Dear Exhibitor/Sponsor:

As Chair of the Exhibits Committee, I invite you to join us this year at the Annual Meeting of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Medical Library Association (MAC/MLA), to be held at the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards, Baltimore, MD. The theme of the 2007 MAC/MLA Annual Meeting is "What'll it be, HON? Libraries á la carte." Medical librarians from the District of Columbia, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia will be gathering to celebrate our accomplishments and look ahead to another year!

The meeting has been scheduled for October 9-12, 2007, with time designated for exhibits on October 10, 2007. To insure optimal exhibitor exposure that day, a number of the meeting events will be located in the exhibit hall including a continental breakfast, a morning break, and an afternoon break.

The Ballroom can comfortably accommodate booths for exhibitors. There are a limited number of spaces available. Priority locations will be reserved on a first come-first served basis for exhibitors and sponsors. Each booth includes standard drapery, a 6' skirted table, two chairs, and one electrical outlet. The exhibit fee of $450.00 includes one standard booth, a one-day meeting registration for one representative and one ticket to the Welcome Reception on October 9. Internet access in the Ballroom can be obtained for the following costs: high-speed line at $150/line/day; and dial-up phone line ($75/line/day).

The Exhibits Committee is accepting donations for sponsorship of a variety of events. Please click here to view sponsorship opportunities. Names of exhibitors and sponsors will be highlighted in the program and posted on the meeting’s web site, with links to their company or product web site.

There are also opportunities for advertising in the MAC/MLA meeting’s printed program. Full-page ads cost $150, and half-page ads are $100. The inside back cover at $250 and the back cover ad is $300. See attached for more detailed information.
