|
CONFERENCE ROOMS
- The HS/HSL conference rooms are available
and can be reserved by university staff, including both University of Maryland
and VA Hospital staff, for meetings that directly relate to university business.
Conference rooms available are the Balis Conference Room and the Boughman/Alpern
Family Conference Room. The Gladhill Board Room is not available for reservations
through HS/HSL. The Gladhill Board Room is controlled by the President's Office
and has a separate policy.
- The Balis and Boughman/Alpern Family
Conference Rooms are available weekdays during Library hours. These rooms
are not available for weekend reservations. Both rooms have a no food policy.
Drinks may be brought in using the approved HS/HSL mug. Any exceptions to
the "no food" policy must be approved in writing by the HS/HSL Director.
- Meeting rooms will not be reserved
on a permanent basis for groups outside the Library. The maximum number of
consecutive meetings that can be scheduled by persons outside the HS/HSL is
five meetings and no more than six months in advance.
-
The meeting rooms should not be reserved
or used for functions that are charging a fee to attend unless it is a program
sponsored by the HS/HSL.
