    The CDC, administered by the Department of Health & Human Services, provides info on diseases and conditions, health promotion, vaccinations and more. (En Español)
  • Familydoctor.org
    Put together by the American Academy of Family Physicians, this site contains info on health conditions, as well as health tools and a “smart patient guide”. There is a link to a Spanish version from the main web page.
  • Healthfinder
    The National Health Information Center maintains this site, which offers info on diseases, health news, alternative medicine, prescription drug info, medical dictionaries and prevention and wellness sites.
  • MayoClinic.com
    This site, from the Mayo Clinic, contains links to disease and condition information, health and wellness sites, drug and supplement info, health assessment tools, calculators and more.
  • Medical Library – Medem Network
    This is a website which promotes patient-physician relations. Create online health records, research health topics, track health news and search for physicians from the site.
  • NOAH: New York Online Access to Health
    This non-profit group provides information in English and in Spanish on a wide range of health topics.
