In January 2008, the first, second and third floors of the Health Sciences and Human Services Library will undergo construction and renovation to bring student services into the building. Expect noise and adjustments in service.
Construction/renovation, including carpet installation on the first floor, will begin January 2, 2008. During construction, there will be days when public access to the first floor is restricted. However, access to current journals and reference books will continue. We expect to complete work on the first floor by the end of the month. At that time, the public computing area and the reference desk will be relocated from the second floor to the first floor.
Work on the second and third floors will begin in January and will continue through the spring semester. Study rooms will remain available.
During construction, the quietest areas of the library are floors four and five, including the fourth floor tower.
Look for construction updates on our website and on signs within the library.
