Library Administration

The Administration of the Health Sciences and Human Services Library is responsible for budget and finance, building management, corporate accounts, fund raising, human resources, policies and procedures, public relations, strategic planning and direction. Administration includes two departments:

• Computing and Technology Services
• Historical and Special Collections Department

Resources

The Resources Division selects, acquires, organizes, manages, preserves and provides access to the Library’s knowledge resources to support professional development, education, collaboration, research, and the cultural needs of our communities.  The division includes three departments:

• Collection Management
• Resource Sharing
• Cataloging

Services

The Services Division provides expertise and high quality reference, research, health information outreach, and circulation services to advance professional development, teaching and learning, collaboration, and research. Through our efforts, we support healthier communities throughout Maryland and beyond. The division includes three departments:

• Circulation
• Liaison and Outreach Services
• Reference and Research Services
