Beverages:

Beverages may not be brought into the building and consumed unless they are in an authorized container. Anyone may purchase an authorized beverage container for use in the Library.

Food:

Food may be consumed only in designated areas with prior authorization from Library Administration. These areas are restricted to the Ceremonial Room for special events.

Beverages may be brought into the building and consumed only if they are in the authorized container.

All individuals who work in the building or staff will be provided with a container.

Beverages are not permitted at any time in the Special Collections area.

Food:

Food may be consumed only in the staff lounge on the third floor unless authorized by Library Administration to be consumed elsewhere.

This restriction applies to offices and conferences rooms, either staff or public.

Appliances such as refrigerators, microwave or other food/beverage cooking devices are not permitted anywhere except the staff lounge and the kitchen area by the Ceremonial Room.
