An alumnus is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore professional school of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Social Work, Dentistry or the Graduate School. Graduates of the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Law are not eligible to purchase a Resources Plus membership.
An associate is a person who has a professional responsibility at a UMB school such as volunteer faculty or clinical instructor. He or she must be actively engaged in teaching, clinical instruction or research. Current UMB faculty, staff and students are not eligible to purchase a Resources Plus membership.
To arrange for a person to have associate status, a Division/Department Chair must provide the HS/HSL with an official letter describing the associate’s relationship with the school.
